Putting Our Core Values to Work
“Officium” – O-fis’-ē-um, Latin for respectful action, service, sense of duty, presence, and allegiance. We put these core
values to work in the way we serve our clients.
Respectful action —Many of us have heard the saying, "Respect is like air. If you take it away, it's all people can think about." We'll give you insightful feedback and model ways to
build a work environment that is motivating and respectful of other’s differences, capabilities, background, and unique style.
Service — For us, service has to do with mutual purpose. Living in the question, "How can we make this work for you and everyone around you?", we help
create intentions around building behaviors that get everyone's needs met.
Sense of duty — As your coach, we form a collaborative partnership with you to look at your current situation, nail down what needs to be different, and
support you while you make changes that give you what you want.
Presence — We work with you to see yourself as you really are, get rid of old habits that no longer work, and project a sense of ease and self-assurance
that allows you to build trust and motivate others. Presence says, "I know who I am," whether I'm dealing with my boss, my peers or my direct reports. It's a sense of
personal power and confidence, which has an influential effect on others.
Allegiance — We are loyal to your cause! We work with you to tap into resources you may not know you have and are available to you via phone,
email, or in person to give you what you need to succeed whenever and however you need it!

We think of George Carlin as a comedian of the 70's and 80's, but we might be amazed that he could write something so eloquent and appropriate at this: "We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We’ve done larger things, but not better things."
