Training & Development
To give you a taste of our background with leadership and management development programs, we have compiled sample course descriptions based on “typical” client needs.
Content is based on the results of studies that have been performed in Fortune 500 companies by state-of-the-art global organizations such as the Center for Creative Leadership and the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations. These studies uncovered an array of competencies based on thousands of executives and managers as they described their difficulties and what gets in their way as they seek to resolve issues and concerns.
We know that every organization is unique. We work collaboratively with you to pinpoint content and experiential exercises that will have the greatest impact for on-the-job effectiveness. Information from your organizational competencies set the direction for program content. We also offer a combination of focus groups and interviews with key stakeholders to provide input and typical scenarios that apply to your organization.
Our systems approach recognizes that many goals happen by following an orderly process. However, in the arena of people and organizations, the rules are a little more uncertain. There are predictable “action gets reaction” ways of thinking that help us know the best techniques for getting things done. Our commitment to you is that we will share these “best”—best in the sense of the highest probability of success—ways for individuals to implement new behaviors in the programs we deliver. While you will note a strong theoretical background in the practices of leading and managing people, our emphasis is primarily experiential. Through discussions, demonstrations, and practice sessions, participants apply what they learn so they walk away with skills they can use upon return to the workplace.
